After visiting the Khao Sok National Park, we took a 11-hour bus to reach the capital city, Bangkok.

Unlike Hanoi, which is a very loud city (with the honks of the scooters) and where you cannot walk on the sidewalks, Bangkok is a very calm and clean city.

Bangkok hosts numerous gorgeous temples. Among those that we have visited, the Wat Arun and the Wat Pha face each others each from one side of the Chao Phraya river.

The Wat Pho is notorious for its giant sleeping Bouddha.

Another interesting place in Bangkok is the Siam museum, which explains the history of Thailand. We really appreciated the exposition about imperial means of transportation.

Lastly, we visited the Grand Palace of Bangkok and its numerous buildings engraved in gold. With the entrance ticket to the palace, we also have been able to see a Thai traditional dance show.
